What makes our favorite games come alive? The forests of Lothlórien, the fields of Pelennor, the grim dark future of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Skaven rats coming out of deep dark caves and sewers, Mordheim cities in the medieval fantasy setting. It's not just the characters, it's not just the miniatures, it's the environment that they inhabit, the story, the narrative.

It's the same for us as humans who are painting these figures. What makes us come alive is the environment that we inhabit. And our environment is under attack from us, from plastic production, from the very hobby that we love.

So at Bear Cavalry Paints, our mission is to bring sustainable art supplies to the miniature painting hobby:

- Paint that's made in a way that has less of an impact on the environment.

- Bottles that are recyclable and even biodegradable.

- Packaging from post-consumer recycled paper and mushroom mycelia instead of microplastic-producing foam and cellophane garbage.

- Mix-on-demand paint machines at every hobby store to keep colors always in stock and reduce carbon emissions from shipping.
